Historical Vignettes from Saint Benedict's and Saint John's

Celebrating and reflecting on our journey:  A lot has happened since five Benedictine monks arrived in the St. Cloud area in 1856 and six Benedictine sisters in 1857.

During the Sesquicentennial Celebration of Saint Benedict's Monastery and Saint John's Abbey and University, we will bring you, periodically,  "historical vignettes" to highlight some of the wonderful stories and people who are part of these communities.
