Mission Statement

The Mission of the CSB/SJU Bailey Herbarium is to maintain and improve our holdings of more than 28,000 plants, fungi, mosses and algae and to make these collections available for educational and research purposes. In addition, the Bailey Herbarium strives to serve as a focal point for plant science on our campuses by offering a diversity of educational programs and botanical activities for our students and the greater public.

To accomplish this mission, we have outlined a series of Goals & Objectives.
