Steven McGreevy (SJU 2001)

Steve worked as an assistant for two years.  During his undergraduate career he conducted two research projects - "A History of the St. John's Prairie" and "Spore Loads at a newly activated compost facility in Central Minnesota."  As a consequence, he was selected by the Botanical Society of America to receive the Young Botanist Award, their highest undergraduate award.  After graduation, Steve spent a year teaching English in Japan and is currently a graduate student studying sustainable botany at the University of Minnesota.  Steve enjoys disk golfing though gets crushed regularly by his mentor.  Click here if you want to see his "wild" side.
