Katrina M. Viegas (CSB 2003)

Katrina is a true "botany wienie."  She has the distinction of being the only worker to have served as an herbarium assistant all four years.   Here she is pictured at the Maui Tropical Fruit Plantation (HI) standing in front of Allamanda cathartica.  Katrina also worked on an independent research project during her senior entitled, "Response of Helianthus annuus roots to changes in soil density."  She presented her research at the CSB/SJU Scholarship Day and St. Cloud State University Undergraduate Research Conference.
