James, a double major in math and biology, clearly loves plants and working in the herbarium. In fact, there are few people who have spent more time studying specimens in the Bailey Herbarium than James. As a result, James completed two independent projects - "A Study of Families in the Bailey Herbarium" and "Is Spring Coming Earlier? An Analysis of Flowering Data from Hepatica americana." James presented the latter project at the CSB/SJU Scholarship Day and the St. Cloud State University Undergraduate Research Conference.
