2009 Transfer Orientation

Welcome to the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University!

The CSB/SJU Community awaits your arrival to St. Joseph and Collegeville at the end of August.  Move-in day for all new students is August 23, and you are welcome to move in any time between August 23 and August 25.  We hope that you have had a fun and exciting summer vacation.  Now that the Fall Semester is almost here, we want to invite you to make plans to attend the Transfer Student Orientation Program on Tuesday, August 25 in Brother Willie's Pub on the Saint John's Campus.  The program will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will include a student panel.  Immediately following the panel, please join past transfer students for candid conversation and a tour of our two campuses.

Even though you have had previous college life experience at another institution, this orientation is a vital part of your success here at CSB/SJU.  This program will help you understand what makes these two schools unique and will ease your transition into the campus community.  Staff members and current students will be available to provide information and answer questions.

In addition to the Transfer Student Orientation Program on Tuesday, the New Student Orientation Program begins Sunday with a welcoming program at CSB and at SJU.  The culmination of both Orientation Programs is Convocation on Wednesday Morning, which is a widely celebrated campus event.  We strongly encourage you to take part in, not only the Transfer Orientation Program, but also the New Student Orientation Program.  Remember that you can move in on Sunday, August 23rd.
