  • Environmental Education Fellowship (12 months): Full-time, Non-Exempt, Support Staff, Benefit Eligible
    The fellowship is an experiential learning opportunity for a recent college graduate interested in a career in environmental education. Assist with environmental education programming for preK-12 students, CSB and SJU college students, and the general public while also gaining professional development in a variety of skills and teaching techniques common to the field of environmental and outdoor education.     Compensation includes:
    • $17.50/hr plus full benefits.
    • Subsidized housing option for approx. $700/month (utilities and wifi included)
    • $3,800 available to pay for course fees to obtain an Environmental Education Certificate
    • Time will be managed to 40 hours per week and will require a flexible schedule.
  • Climate Impact Project Coordinator (11 months): Full-time, AmeriCorps service
    Climate Impact Corps is an Ampact environmental program powered by AmeriCorps. As a Project Coordinator, you will plan and lead projects related to land stewardship of the Abbey Arboretum and support Outdoor U environmental education programming. Apply for the Collegeville location to be placed with Outdoor U (you can also apply for the two positions in St. Joseph to work in the CSB+SJU sustainability office). Position begins Aug 26, 2024.

    AmeriCorps Compensation includes:
    • $1100 stipend paid every two weeks (40 hour weeks)
    • Individual health insurance (monthly premium 100% covered)
    • Childcare assistance, based on family size and income
    • Up to $7395 in Education Award which can be used to pay tuition or repay qualified student loans. Individuals 55+ may gift their award to a family member.
    • Federal student loan forbearance and interest repayment
    • Time accrual toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
