Size  40 - 44 um
Shape  prolate subspheroidal or suboblate
Exine  1.2 - 2.4 um thick
Intine  thin, .5 - 1.2 um thick, usually somewhat thickened beneath apertures
Pores/Furrows  tricolporate, pores round excedding the 
Sculpting  verrucate pilate
Bloom Period  
Allergenicity  Reports of pollen shed are infrequent as it is easily mistaken for Oak,  and for the same reason there are few cases of pollinosis attributed to Beech
