Associate Professor of German, Saint John's University - Fr. Mark earned his PhD in 1986 from Princeton University in Germanic Languages and Literatures. He received his BA in German from Saint John’s University in 1973 and his MDiv in theology from Saint John’s University School of Theology Seminary in 1979. From 1994-1998, Fr. Mark served as President and Headmaster of Saint John's Preparatory School. Fr. Mark has escorted more than twenty groups of undergraduate students on study abroad programs in Germany, Italy, Austria, India, and Nepal. He served on the Regents' Capital Campaign Steering Committee and Leadership Gifts Committee from 1986 to 1993, and on the Regent's Committee to Evaluate the SJU President in 1989. In 1973, Fr. Mark professed solemn vows and was ordained in 1979. Fr. Mark rejoins the board after serving from 1984 -1991.
