The Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree is a postgraduate, predoctoral program which prepares students for further studies. Students increase both the breadth and the depth of their knowledge of theology from a previous graduate theological degree. The program is designed to work in conjunction with the Master of Arts in Theology degree to provide students with a strong foundation in a foreign language, thesis research, and writing. Students in this degree program are strongly encouraged to further their doctoral preparation by studying a second foreign language. Research Assistantships are available to students approved for the Master of Theology degree as part of preparation for doctoral work.
