Ministers in Transition

"Transitioning into Ministry" is a retreat that will provide an opportunity for those who have transitioned from the role of student in theological education to pastoral leadership in the last five years to theologically reflect on their practice of ministry, ability to sustain healthy ministry habits, and foster a renewed sense of the minister's vocational call. The retreatants gather daily with an SOT·Sem faculty member for theological reflection on the practice of ministry. Retreats are open to eight participants and begin Sunday afternoon with Vespers in the Abbey church and conclude after lunch on Friday. The next retreat will be facilitated by Barbara Sutton on July 18-23, 2010.
